Held the most successful Scrips and Basket fundraiser ever! We also supported the UMass Lecture Series/CSS & SRE Guidance Dept with family fun nights/childcare and surprised lots of staff with gifts and supplies!

Set up the meeting space at the first annual teachers meeting as a Fall wonderland, complete with many homemade donations, waters, candies and apples from Cold Spring Orchard. In addition, our staff appreciation committee worked hard in creating a great note pad and highlighter marker gift for each teacher!

Purchased the following wish-list items for teachers:
Cold Spring- 2 easy punch staplers, printing calculator, stickers, glue sticks & glitter glue, cotton balls, paper plates, plastic and paper bags, plastic utensils, play center, treasure box trinkets, indoor recess toys/games/puzzles, band-aids, bingo dotters & sequins.
Swift River - low odor expo markers, stickers, magnetic tape, pencil sharpener, plastic utensils, plastic & paper bags, Expo markers, prize box trinkets, digital camera with memory card, DVD player, printer ink, puzzles, copy paper, masking tape, sponges, wipes, tissues, flashcards, music CD's, bean bag chairs, pencils & index cards.

Hosted Family Movie Night in October & Family Game Night in November &
Hosted HUGE Family Bingo Night held in conjunction with the Celebrate Belchertown kick-off event on New Years Eve. We were honored to see over 400 people this night! It was a huge success!

Purchased new teacher mailboxes for CSS * Provided Snacks & goodies for the staff on their in-service day * Surprised the Custodians at CSS & SRE with a thank you gift card and poem on National Custodian's Day * Setup a new snack vending center at CSS * Purchased a new answering machine for the SRE Main Office absentee line * Received a donation of a new all-in-one machine for the SRE nurse's office & purchased supplies to get her up and going * Purchased a label maker & supplies for CSS Main Office * Surprised the Paraprofessional with a sweet hot chocolate treat and thank you notes on National Paraprofessional's Day * Hosted a Family Fun Game Night in conjunction with UMass Lecture Series * Hosted a FREE Family Bingo night * Hosted Family Craft Nights in conjunction with UMass Lecture Series * Purchased classroom rugs, no noise classpacks for chairs, overhead projectors, sandbox toys, chalk, playground balls, sleds, radios for classrooms and offices, pencils, and more * Hosted a teacher appreciation breakfast and luncheon while providing a little treat each day, free Chinese raffle for the teachers with some amazing donated prizes,and purchased new Ellison Die-cuts for both schools * Helped fulfill the teacher wish lists by providing a new white board for a classroom as well as ink cartridges and other supplies * Helped with supplies for the Grade 3 Sturbridge Village Projects and field trip costs * Assisted Cold Spring School with t-shirts for Field Day * Celebrated music, art, health/gym appreciation months
