The Cold Spring Swift River PTO a 100% volunteer operated certified 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our organization was born in September 2005 and has continually grown and blossomed ever since. Our Mission Statement is "Working together to assist our children on their academic journey". We strive to achieve this goal by being an active part of our school community. Our goals are to offer family and enrichment programs, support teachers and school improvement goals, and foster effective partner involvement in order to help the home, school, and community work together to provide the best possible learning environment for our children.
Every parent, caregiver, and educator with students in, or who works at, either Swift River or Cold Springs School is automatically a member of the PTO.
We try and encourage members to consider actively participating with any time, service, or donation they have to offer. With your participation, you will be supporting an important partnership to help Belchertown's elementary aged children be the best they can be. We believe that this partnership will improve and enrich our children's education.
There are many volunteer opportunities that require little time commitment, but are necessary to the success of PTO events. Please know that any gift of your time that you offer the PTO, and ultimately our students, is never too small! We are appreciative of whatever you are able to give.
To become involved with the PTO, please check out our volunteer committee opportunities and let us know how you can help by sending an outline of what you can offer to the CSSR PTO, 57 State Street, Belchertown, MA 01007 or e-mail us at Contact@cssrpto.org
